MEN’S BASKETBALL LEAGUE
WINTER SEASON

Winter Season Begins January 11
– Games played on Saturday mornings and possibly Sunday afternoons.
– Eight to ten regular season games plus playoff games

Registration Open to December 20
– Professional Referees again!
– $25 only for first time league participants
– First game free for mid-season adds, $25 for 2-3 games, $70 otherwise.
– $70 (or $25) needs to be paid to assure a spot on a team roster.​

Game Length
– 25 minute running halves.
– Scheduled gym time for each game is 70 minutes.
– Plan to arrive early and stay late, about 5-10 minutes before and after each game.
– Optional joint-team prayer time in the lobby after each game.

Team and Player Eligibility
– Guests of SWBIBLE players are welcome to join their same team.
– Players 18 and older are eligible. Players ages 16 or 17 may play as a guest in the games their father/season sponsor (21 years or older) also participates.
– One game-day addition allowed at captain’s discretion to be 4th, 5th, or 6th player for the game.

-Mid-season team additions must be approved by all captains and then complete registration, waiver and payment requirements to play second game.
– No player may participate on more than one team and no player may switch teams unless sanctioned by commission.
– 6 teams of 8-10 players expected.

Team Formation
– SWBIBLE men are drafted to teams December 21 by captains or assigned by Commissioner. Captains and other SWBIBLE men recruit interested guest players to fill out their roster until initial team size set by the captain is reached.

- Waiver and acknowledgement of league rules and code of conduct to be signed before first game played.
