Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness; for bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. It is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance. For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers. Prescribe and teach these things. 1 Tim. 4:7-11

All ministries at Southwest Bible Church are to contribute to the ultimate ministry of the God’s Church – Proclaiming Jesus Christ and building up the Body of Christ with mature disciples of His. The Athletic ministries of Southwest Bible support this ultimate goal. They provide venues for Christians to fellowship and grow in Christ-like character while getting some good exercise in! At these sporting events participants meet new people with common interests. This starts and builds Christ-honoring relationships that can carry over into the rest of the life of the family of believers here at Southwest. Personal guests are welcome to join them at any of the events.

Archery Club

Archery here at Southwest is a family-friendly activity and a great way to get to know other Christian families. We begin each shoot indoors with a short devotional and some refreshments before heading out to the archery range located on the church grounds. All equipment and instruction is provided.
